ChemSW is looking for a Technical Sales Representative/Product Specialist

In this position you will be contacting previous and potential customers to aid them in their needs for laboratory management software. You will need to become a product specialist with knowledge of our suite of products and how they can best suit our customer’s needs. Work closely with technical staff and ChemSW developers to solve customer problems for maximum customer satisfaction. Follow-up on existing customers who may need upgrades or additional software or accessories. Assist ChemSW marketing personnel with creation of marketing materials to maximize lead generation. Create an atmosphere of high performance, positive attitude, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create new business in key accounts and maintain established relationships in existing accounts
• Provide prompt and effective follow-up to customers and prospects.
• Qualify leads, customer needs and set as many software demonstrations as possible
• Provide customers with product information and quotes.
• Complete 50 sales calls per day on average.
• Work in concert with other departments to ensure sales and company goals

• Previous sales experience
• A positive, proactive, outgoing personality a must
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with all types of people
• Strong organization skills and ability to work under and meet deadlines
• Excellent written, documentation/record keeping, and verbal skills
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office and Outlook
• A desire to grow and excel in one's position

• Experience using sales contact software such as SalesForce,or GoldMine
• WebEx experience
• Previous experience presenting hardware and software demonstrations
• At least an Associates of Arts degree preferred.
• Laboratory experience
